About
Still Marsh is a personal notebook about a single patch of wetland: a few hectares of reeds, two shallow pools and the ditches that feed them. It is walked most weekends and in every season.
The notes are deliberately simple. They record water level, weather, what was seen or heard, and occasionally what was not there when it usually would be. There are no photographs of nests and no exact locations, to keep visitors from disturbing anything.
Corrections and identifications are always welcome, but the site has no comments and no accounts — it is just pages.
